Unfortunately for you, they're far more intelligent than you are, so while you were able to get away with calling them nerds in highschool, you now simply address them as "sir."

Nerd : Someone whose I.Q. is more than their bodyweight, and who will end up getting revenge on bullies from highschool by making millions and marrying a supermodel.
